Job summary

Builders FirstSource, located in Oxford, Connecticut, is seeking a Load Builder to assist in loading and unloading materials at our work site. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of related experience, with forklift certification necessary.

You will be responsible for loading materials for delivery, maintaining safety standards, and possibly guiding less experienced staff. This role requires physical activity and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience performing loading and unloading tasks.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials onto/from trucks.
• Determines appropriate load composition.
• Conveys materials using hand truck or forklift.
• Cleans work area and equipment.
• Understands and observes safety procedures.

Skills

Forklift operator certification
