Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel statewide as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Department of Labor and Industries in civil litigation, including workers' compensation and health and safety matters.
  • Handle discovery, motion practice, and briefing; negotiate settlements when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary LNI team to support clients' missions.
  • Participate in training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
  • Travel statewide to litigation events as required; some remote work possible.
