Job summary

Hillside Health Care Center in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead a 208-bed skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on clinical excellence, teamwork, accountability, and resident care within AMA-LTC’s growing organization.

The ideal leader will oversee operations, partner with clinical leadership, and drive quality improvement while supervising a strong leadership team and ensuring regulatory compliance in a dynamic long-term care environment.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or eligibility for Missouri licensure.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive leadership experience as a Nursing Home Administrator or senior leader within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Demonstrated success building high-performing teams and improving operational and clinical performance.
• Experience with residents with behavioral health conditions, dementia, and complex medical needs is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of state survey processes, CMS regulations, regulatory compliance, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for a 208-bed Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and leadership team to meet clinical, regulatory, operational, and financial goals.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team focused on accountability and collaboration.
• Foster a positive workplace culture where employees are engaged and supported.
• Lead through change while maintaining stable resident outcomes and clear communication.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and maintain survey readiness.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives focused on CMS Quality Measures and resident satisfaction.
• Develop census and cultivate relationships with residents, families, hospitals, and the community.
• Create strategies for residents with behavioral health and dementia care needs.
