Job summary

C2O Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead to support a major LNG facility project in Southern Louisiana. The Electrical Lead will oversee commissioning, startup, testing, energization, and readiness for high- and low-voltage systems, coordinating with engineering, construction, operations, vendors, and client representatives to ensure safe and successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of seven (7) years LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, power generation, or energy infrastructure project experience.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical commissioning, startup, testing, energization, or operations support.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning, startup, energization, and readiness for project systems.
• Develop and execute commissioning procedures, test plans, and startup documentation.
• Coordinate system turnover, inspection, testing, and acceptance activities.
• Manage energization planning for substations, switchgear, MCCs, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, vendors, and client reps for readiness and startup success.
• Support troubleshooting, punch list management, and system acceptance activities.
• Participate in readiness reviews, risk assessments, and electrical safety programs.
• Provide status reporting and commissioning metrics to project leadership.
