Job summary

C2O Group is seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead for a major LNG facility project in Southern Louisiana. The Lead will oversee commissioning and startup activities within their area, interfacing with engineering, construction, operations, vendors, and client stakeholders to drive readiness and successful startup execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline.
• 10–15 years in LNG/oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy projects.
• Experience leading commissioning, startup, operational readiness, or turnover.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder skills.
• LNG project experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, startup, and operational readiness activities within assigned systems or disciplines.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Support system turnover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing.
• Facilitate readiness reviews, risk assessments, punch list management, and issue resolution.
• Monitor progress and provide status updates, forecasts, and commissioning metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote safety culture and safe work practices.
• Participate in planning meetings, stakeholder engagements, and execution strategy development.
