Faststream Recruitment is recruiting a Marine Project Engineer for a leading international energy company based in Houston. The role supports LNG projects and the global fleet, with responsibilities across propulsion, power generation, and marine systems throughout the engineering lifecycle.
Candidates should hold a degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture with 5+ years in marine or project engineering.
Competenze
- Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture or related discipline.
- 5+ years of marine, project, or marine systems engineering experience.
- LNG or LPG experience preferred.
- Knowledge of propulsion, power generation, and marine systems.
- Experience with shipyards, equipment manufacturers, and marine contractors.
- Steam, diesel-electric, or gas turbine background is advantageous.
Mansioni
- Support projects through the engineering lifecycle.
- Develop and review technical documentation.
- Optimize marine systems engineering.
- Review shipyard and vendor documentation.
- Prepare technical scopes and equipment specifications.
- Support equipment selection and technical evaluation.
- Work with Classification Societies.
- Contribute to HAZID/HAZOP/FMECA and other risk reviews.
- Support commissioning and vessel operations.
- Travel internationally to vessels and shipyards.
