Job summary

Excelerate Energy, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer – Marine Systems to lead marine engineering efforts on global LNG and FSRU/LNGC projects. You will model, design, and support propulsion, power, and marine auxiliary systems across newbuilds, conversions, and terminals.

You will coordinate with suppliers and contractors, ensure HSSEQ compliance, and provide technical support during vessel life cycles, drydocks, upgrades, and redeployments.

Qualifications

• Core expertise in marine engineering systems, propulsion, electrical, and auxiliary machinery.
• Modelling and simulation of marine systems.
• Assistance with technical support throughout vessel life cycles.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HSSEQ is addressed in work planning and execution.
• Prepare marine engineering documents and drawings for project development.
• Support safety, security, environmental, quality, and operability reviews.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors to meet project goals.
• Provide project and terminal support for design, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting.
