Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide quality patient care under the direction of a registered nurse in a hospital setting. The role requires CPR certification, basic computer skills, and the ability to assist with admissions, transfers, and daily patient activities.

Experience with pediatric, adult, and geriatric care is valued. Orientation and training are provided; travel reimbursement may be available for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire registration as a Nursing Assistant or have completed a board approved Nursing Assistant Education Program (awaiting licensure within 120 days from program's last day of class).
• Must be CPR certified.
• Familiarity with computer applications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care to medical/surgical and pediatric patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Assists with admitting, discharging and transferring of patients.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting patients.
