Job summary

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide basic nursing and restorative care to residents in a long-term care setting. Under supervision of LPNs and RNs, you will assist with daily living activities, support independence, and maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, nutritional and elimination assistance, safety monitoring, and adherence to infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of CNA/LNA clinical experience
• Willingness to float to different units as needed
• Active State Nursing Assistant License or valid Compact License
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Completed COVID-19 vaccination series
• Prior travel assignment experience and rural/small facility experience (highly preferred)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) - Long-Term & Restorative Care

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to deliver high-quality basic nursing and restorative care to residents in a long-term care setting. Working under the supervision of LPNs and RNs, you will assist residents with daily living activities, maintain a safe and supportive environment, and foster resident independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care & Hygiene: Assist residents with essential activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, skin care, and personal hygiene according to individual Resident Care Plans.
• Mobility & Transferring: Support resident mobility, including ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, turning, positioning, and safe patient transfers.
• Nutritional & Elimination Support: Assist residents with meals, hydration, feeding, caloric counts, intake/output tracking, toileting, and bowel/bladder training.
• Safety & Monitoring: Maintain resident safety and confidentiality at all times, respond to emergency situations (such as falls or fire drills), and report significant clinical or behavioral changes to licensed staff.
• Infection Control & Environment: Follow strict infection control techniques, maintain clean resident living spaces, and respect individual spiritual and personal preferences.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of current clinical experience as a CNA/LNA [Required].
• Flexibility: Willingness to float to different units or care areas as needed [Required].
• Licensure: Active State Nursing Assistant License or valid Compact License [Required at submission].
• Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) [Required].
• Health Requirements: Completed COVID-19 primary vaccination series [Required].
• Preferences: Prior travel assignment experience and experience in rural or small healthcare facilities [Highly Preferred].
