Job summary

Elderwood at Burlington is seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide personal and clinical care under the supervision of licensed nurses. You will support residents’ physical comfort and emotional well-being, ensuring dignity and safety in daily activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Valid LNA license in Vermont or reciprocal state.
• Minimum of six months' experience in a long-term care environment (preferred).
• Ability to react decisively in emergency situations.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Demonstrates responsibility and ownership of quality care.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with turning, positioning, and ambulation.
• Record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food & fluid intake and output as directed.
• Conform to LNA job responsibilities and documentation procedures.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings to contribute to residents’ plans of care.
• Document restorative services provided.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

• Days: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Evenings: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Nights: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Salary

$22.00 – $29.00 per hour (based on experience)

Per‑Diem Rate: $22.50 per hour

Pay in Lieu of Benefits: earn an additional 10%

Shift differentials: up to $1.75 per hour
