Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• New Hampshire LNA license required.

• One year of previous experience working in a medical setting, or the equivalent preferred.
• One year of previous experience as an LNA in an acute care setting preferred.

• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.

• BCLS preferred on hire; required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supports patient and unit flow as part of the Nursing team.
• Greets department entrants and provides direction.
• Manages department calls and messages for clear communication.
• Maintains appropriate office supplies and confidentiality of patient documentation.
• Assists with chart preparation, faxing, filing and verification.
• Supports provider orders in the electronic medical record and related documentation.
• Performs unit tasks and assists with equipment as needed.
• Maintains unit competencies and supports staff during patient care.
