20 Elliot Hospital of the City of Manchester in Manchester, NH, seeks a licensed nursing assistant to join the Geropsychiatric Unit. You will perform direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision and support patients and families, with focus on activities of daily living and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Current New Hampshire licensure as LNA required.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
• Aggression de-escalation training approved by EHS.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Report all observations, symptoms, deviations from normal, and changes in patient’s condition to RN
• Provide basic support to patients and families
• Documents in selected areas of the medical record as appropriate
