Qualifications

  • BLS Certification and NH Nursing Assistant license required.
  • Clinical/Medical Office/Managed Care Experience 1–2 years preferred or Nursing Assistant Experience 1+ years required.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and record vital signs and weights per policy.
  • Provide hands-on patient/client care.
  • Provide grooming and personal care to patients/clients.
  • Feed or assist patients with meals and provide additional nourishment and hydration per the care plan.
  • Collect and bag soiled linen and deliver it to the designated dirty linen area.
  • Assist physicians and/or licensed nurses with treatments and procedures as needed.
  • Provide toileting and incontinence care for patients/clients.
  • Report changes in patients' conditions, as well as patient/family concerns or complaints, to the charge nurse and/or supervisor.
