Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an LMSW Assessment Specialist to perform psychosocial and risk assessments, determine admission needs, and coordinate discharge planning. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and help create aftercare plans to ensure safe transitions for patients.

The role requires an MS in a relevant field, appropriate licensure (LCSW/LMSW/LPC), and BLS/HWS credentials with at least 1 year of acute hospital experience.

Qualifications

• TX LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPC-A required
• Master's degree in relevant field
• BLS certification required
• HWS certification required
• 1+ year recent acute hospital experience in specialty

POSITION SUMMARY – LMSW Assessment Specialist

POSITION DUTIES

Conducts comprehensive psychosocial and risk assessments, evaluates patients for admission and level-of-care needs, collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team, coordinates crisis intervention services, and helps develop discharge and aftercare plans to support safe patient transitions.

Minimum Required Qualifications –

• TX LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LPC-A
• Master's degree in relevant field
• BLS
• HWS
• 1+ year recent acute hospital experience in specialty

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – Familiarity With Managing Patients In Emergency Settings

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT

13 weeks

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK

7pm-7:30am, Sunday-Tuesday or Wednesday-Friday. Every other weekend.
