Job summary

Freedom Behavioral is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professional in Louisiana to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to adult and geriatric patients. You will join a multidisciplinary team focusing on emotional, cognitive, developmental, social, and behavioral needs in daily treatment.

Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy, psychosocial assessments, and collaboration with families and external agencies. Louisiana licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and staffing’s
• Ensure documentation complies with facility and regulatory standards
• Provide crisis intervention and facilitate special case conferences when needed
• Maintain a therapeutic, safe, and supportive environment for patients
• Uphold all facility policies and regulatory guidelines

As a Licensed Mental Health Professional, you will be a vital member of our multi-disciplinary team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that high-quality, therapeutic services are delivered daily, with a strong focus on emotional, cognitive, developmental, social, and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field
• Licensure: Must hold a current and active license in the state of Louisiana (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, PLPC, Ect.)

Experience

• Previous experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations is required
• Experience working with adolescents is strongly preferred
