Job summary

Thriveworks seeks provisionally licensed clinicians pursuing Colorado licensure as LMFT Candidates to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions in Westminster, CO. You must be near Westminster and willing to work in-office during a probationary period, then transition to a hybrid model.

Responsibilities include conducting intakes and diagnosing under supervision, treating depression and anxiety, and building a full caseload within 90 days with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Approved by the board as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (LMFTA or MFTC).
• Must be pursuing independent licensure and live in Colorado.
• Reside within 45 minutes of the Westminster office and able to work in person during probation.
• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
• Experience treating depression and anxiety in counseling settings.
• Experience conducting intakes and diagnosing under supervision (preferred).
• Available for at least 25 sessions per week with 30 hours of weekly availability.
• Open to treating couples and children; comfortable with telehealth and EHR tools.

About the Role

We’re hiring licensed clinicians to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to our more than 175,000 clients across the country. You may be a good fit for this role if you’re:

• Approved by the board as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (LMFTA or MFTC)
• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Colorado
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the office location. Ability to work in the office for the probationary period and then work a hybrid model (50% in office and 50% remote).
• A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
• Graduate or Post‑graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required
• Graduate or Post‑graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) according to the current DSM‑5 under a licensed supervisor.
• Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
• A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
• Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress
• Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools
• A good teammate — we’re building a clinical community and value positive contributors

Compensation

Up to $75,000 based on licensure type, session volume, and bonus opportunities. Full‑time clinicians are eligible for health insurance, student loan repayment assistance, paid time off, and other employer‑sponsored benefits.

How We Support You

We handle the administrative work so you can focus on what you do best: providing exceptional care. That means credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support taken care of for you, plus paid orientation and training to get you started. You'll build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing, with flexible scheduling available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.
