Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Master’s Level Behavioral Health Professional (LLCP, LCP or LMSW or equivalent) for the Saginaw County Jail in Michigan. This full-time role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide mental health care and crisis intervention for inmates.

You will perform risk assessments, develop treatment goals, and ensure thorough documentation and reporting. A focus on compassionate care and adherence to policies is essential for success in this

Qualifications

• Master’s level Behavioral Health Clinician with LLCP, LCP or LMSW or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity.
• Satisfactory background investigation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessment of inmates and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Assist in discharge planning and ongoing treatment goals during stay.
• Contribute to program development and objective setting for behavioral health unit.
• Prepare documentation, records and reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Make independent clinical decisions within supervision when needed.

LLCP, LCP, LMSWPOSITION SUMMARY
The Behavioral Health Professional will be involved in working with all disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit to attain effectiveness in serving the patient population.

LLCP, LCP, LMSW E SSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• The Behavioral Health Professional performs risk assessment of inmates; coordination of care with interdisciplinary team including medical staff, community providers, psychiatric hospitals and corrections; and discharge planning.
• The Behavioral Health Professional assists inmates in planning and implementing treatment goals for the duration of their stay in the Stark County Jail.
• The Behavioral Health Professional assists in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects.
• The Behavioral Health Professional provides the necessary preparation of documentation, necessary records and reports.
• Excellent and timely documentation skills required. The ideal candidate is able to make independent clinical decisions, while utilizing assistance and supervisory intervention, as needed.

LLCP, LCP, LMSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a Licensed, Master’s Level Behavioral Health Clinician who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, provide Mental Health treatment, and hold any of the following licenses: LLCP, LCP, or equivalent

• Full-Time
• Every other weeekend

LLCP, LCP, LMSW REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduation from a Master’s level program.
• Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
• Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report.
