Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies seeks a Master’s Level Behavioral Health Professional (LLCP, LCP, LMSW or equivalent) to join the team at Saginaw County Jail in Michigan. This full-time role is Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, within the Behavioral Health Unit, delivering assessments and coordinated care for inmates.

Qualifications include current license LLCP/LCP/LMSW or equivalent, a Master’s degree in Behavioral Health, and at least one year in a social work capacity; background check required.

Qualifications

• Master’s level Behavioral Health degree required.
• Licensed as LLCP, LCP, LMSW or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessment of inmates and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Assist in discharge planning and treatment goals within the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Prepare necessary documentation, records, and reports with timely, accurate notes.
• Make independent clinical decisions when appropriate with supervisory support.
