Senior Lifestyle in Colorado Springs is seeking compassionate aides to provide personal assistance to residents in Independent Living and Assisted Living, performing housekeeping, meal prep, and daily care tasks.

Responsibilities include documenting services, attending trainings, and maintaining safety and professionalism in interactions with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1+ years in general patient care in a care facility or home setting.
• Ability to understand and speak English.

Job Description

• Provide Home Making Services as required: Make the bed, wash dishes, tidy the apartment, organize closets and dresser drawers, launder clothing and bedding, iron, grocery shopping, meal preparations.
• Provide additional assistance as required.
• Document on the daily report sheets services provided to the resident. Daily reports to be completed and returned at the end of each shift.
• Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Area of Study: General Education

Years of Experience: 0-1+ years

Type of Experience: General patient care in a care facility or in a home situation.

Language Skills: The ability to understand and speak the English language.

Personal Attributes: Patience and compassion for the elderly.
