Job summary

Integrated Community Services in Marin County is hiring Living Skills Instructors to provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities, helping them reach personal goals and independence. You’ll work in diverse settings, using empathy, organization, and flexible problem-solving, with on-the-job training provided.

Positions offer either part-time or full-time hours at $22–$23.50 per hour, with shifts typically within 9 a.m.–7 p.m.

Qualifications

Basic computer literacy and comfort using Google Workspace apps.
Ability to use Zoom to schedule, join, and participate in virtual meetings.
Strong organizational and time management skills; can independently manage a weekly calendar.
Ability to track daily work hours, maintain a weekly timecard, and track mileage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Valid identification required; background check will be conducted.

Responsibilities

Partner with clients to work toward goals related to independent living and education.
Provide in-home, community-based, and educational setting support tailored to individual needs.
Support skill development for school participation, organization, time management, and self-advocacy.
Manage a personal weekly calendar, schedule meetings in person, in the field, and via Zoom.
Maintain accurate daily calendars and time records; document progress notes.
