Job summary

Saconde in Manhattan, NY seeks a Livestream Sales Assistant to support hosts during live shows on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay and more. You’ll pin products, manage the queue, verify titles and pricing, and help keep the show moving quickly.

This is a 100% on-site, W-2 hourly role with 3–4 shifts per week and compensation of $22–$28 per hour. Prior livestream or ecommerce experience is a plus; training is provided for the right candidate, with emphasis on luxury inventory handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist livestream hosts during live shopping shows on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay, and other platforms.

• Manage the livestream product queue and ensure items are presented in the correct order.
• Confirm product titles, SKUs, pricing, condition, and other information before items are shown.
• Help launch auctions, Buy It Now listings, and other live‑sale functions.
• Monitor livestream comments and questions from viewers.
• Alert the host to important customer questions or requests.
• Help moderate comments and maintain an organized livestream chat.
• Keep track of which products have been shown, sold, skipped, or still need to be presented.
• Prepare upcoming products so the host can move quickly from one item to the next.
• Hand products to hosts and properly receive and organize merchandise after presentation.
• Assist with inventory organization and product preparation.
• Support multiple livestream platforms as Saconde expands its live‑commerce operations.

As we continue growing our livestream business across platforms such as Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay, and other live-commerce channels, we're looking for an organized and dependable Livestream Sales Assistant to support our hosts and keep our live shows running smoothly.

About the Role

As a Livestream Sales Assistant , you'll work alongside Saconde's livestream hosts from our Manhattan studio.

While the host focuses on presenting products and interacting with viewers, you'll help manage everything happening behind the scenes.

You'll be responsible for tasks such as pinning the correct products during livestreams, managing the product queue, monitoring comments, preparing merchandise, confirming product information, and helping the host keep the show organized and moving quickly.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys social media, luxury fashion, e-commerce, and fast-paced environments.

You do not need to be comfortable being on camera.

What You'll Do

• Assist livestream hosts during live shopping shows on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay, and other platforms.

• Help verify that the physical product matches the online listing before it is presented.
• Assist with updating listings, prices, titles, or product information when necessary.
• Help identify and resolve basic livestream or platform issues during shows.
• Assist with lighting, cameras, microphones, phones, computers, and other livestream equipment when needed.
• Help set up the livestream area before shows and organize it afterward.
• Maintain an organized workspace and make sure merchandise is returned to the appropriate location.
• Assist with inventory organization and product preparation.
• Support multiple livestream platforms as Saconde expands its live‑commerce operations.
• Assist with short‑form content, livestream clips, product videos, or behind‑the‑scenes content when needed.
• Perform other livestream, e‑commerce, inventory, and operational support duties as assigned.

• Can carefully follow product‑handling and inventory procedures.
• Is willing to learn about luxury handbags, jewelry, watches, accessories, and designer brands.
• Is punctual and dependable for scheduled livestream shifts.
• Has a positive attitude and works well as part of a team.

You do not need to be a luxury expert when you start.

However, you should be interested in learning about brands and products such as Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Saint Laurent, Cartier, Rolex, and other luxury designers.

This is a 100% on-site position .

Employees will work directly with Saconde's luxury inventory, livestream hosts, computers, cameras, equipment, and merchandise from our Manhattan studio.

This is not a remote position.

Schedule

Employees should have availability for approximately 3–4 or more livestream shifts per week , depending on the position's scheduled hours and business needs.

Schedules will be established by Saconde based on business needs and employee availability.

Reliability is extremely important because the Livestream Sales Assistant plays a key role in keeping scheduled live shows running smoothly.

Compensation

$22–$28 per hour

This is a W-2 hourly employee position .

Starting compensation within the posted range will depend on factors such as:

• Whatnot or TikTok Shop experience
• Livestream experience
• Technical ability
• Inventory experience
• Qualifications and demonstrated skills

Employees will be paid in accordance with applicable federal, New York State, and New York City wage‑and‑hour requirements.

Overtime will be paid when required by applicable law.

Employment Status

This position is structured as a W-2 employee position with Saconde and is not an independent contractor opportunity.
