Prestage Farms is looking for an Animal Welfare Coordinator to support the procurement team in delivering necessary live hogs while ensuring adherence to animal welfare standards. The role requires coordinating logistics and maintaining communication with producers and transporters. Successful candidates will have an AA/AS degree or related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position may require up to 25% travel and offers a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; livestock/meat facility experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old; bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify incoming livestock shipments.
• Track and update load activity in procurement systems.
• Assist with training and compliance monitoring.
