Qualifications

• Minimum three months’ verifiable experience operating large tractors with GPS and other precision technology, including towed implements.
• Proven experience in cattle handling, calving, feeding feeder cattle, and fencing.
• Ability to operate and maintain agricultural technology systems.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 60 days.
• No minimum education required.

Responsibilities

• Care for livestock, including handling cattle and assisting during calving season, check pens for water, cleanliness, and health.
• Feed and monitor animal health; maintain and repair fences; operate livestock tech to manage feeding and data.
• Operate large tractors and farm equipment during planting, spraying, haying, and harvest; use GPS and precision ag systems.
• Haul cattle and bales; seasonal duties include cutting, raking, baling forage and transport to farmstead.
• Comply with safety rules: no texting, smoking, drugs, or alcohol during work hours.
