Job summary

H2ajobs in Nebraska is seeking a Farmworker, Livestock to support daily care and operation of livestock facilities. Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, catching, and loading, plus assisting with calving and administration of medications as appropriate.

You may drive farm trucks, tractors and related equipment to haul feed and cattle to market. Housing is employer-provided (including mobile or range). Meals and transport are described in the Addendum.

Qualifications

• Livestock care experience preferred.
• 1 month experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to and monitor livestock health, including feeding, watering, herding, grazing, branding, catching and loading.
• Inspect, maintain and repair equipment, pens, yards and fencing.
• Assist calving and administer medications, vaccines or insecticides as appropriate.
• Drive farm trucks, tractors, and other equipment to haul feed and cattle to market.
