H2ajobs in Minnesota seeks a laborer to attend to cattle on a farm. You will feed cattle, perform cattle work and pregnancy checks, wean, vaccinate, and assist with calving, plus maintain fences, barns, and water systems.

Housing and meals are provided by the employer; transportation to town is arranged as needed. Applicants should have at least 1 month of cattle experience and a valid driver’s license within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 month of experience with handling cattle/livestock is required.
• Must have or be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire.
• Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employer's expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads.
• Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employer's expense due to expensive tools and equipment.
• Must be able to lift a 75 pound calf.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Feed cattle and perform cattle work and pregnancy checks.
• Wean, work and vaccinate cattle, calving prep and calving duties.
• Maintain feeding equipment, fences, barns and grounds; snow removal and cleaning.
