Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farm laborer to attend to live farm and ranch animals, perform feeding, watering, herding, and loading tasks, and maintain animal records. Duties include disease checks, administering medications, and moving livestock between locations.

The role also involves operating trucks/tractors, inspecting equipment, and assisting with crop grading and storage. Experience: 2 months; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, speak and understand English, and may be subjected to random drug

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Feed, water, herd, graze, castrate, identify, catch, and load animals.
• Maintain records on animals and inspect for diseases or injuries.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate.
• Move livestock between locations and clean animal housing areas.
• Operate trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute commodities.
• Inspect and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards and fences.
• Participate in crop inspection, grading, sorting, and storage; grade products for processing.
• Operate grain conditioning equipment and monitor moisture/grades.
• Weigh products, load hoppers, and ensure proper containerization.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Potentially transport grain to ports/terminals; load semi trailers as needed.
• Assist in wildlife habitat management on the farm.
