Job summary

West Virginia University School of Medicine's Department of Pathology invites an academic pathologist for an open-rank faculty position with expertise in liver transplant pathology and interest in GI/hepatobiliary pathology and/or transplant pathology. Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalent degree and WV licensure eligibility.
• Completed pathology residency with fellowship in GI/HB or transplant pathology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out diagnostics within a subspecialized practice model focusing on liver transplant pathology.
• Contribute to education of medical students, residents and fellows.
• Support academic mission through teaching, clinical service and collaboration.
• Engage in research or scholarly activities where appropriate.
