Synergy HomeCare in Northern New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Live-In Nanny and Mother's Helper for two boys, with the older child on the autism spectrum. The role focuses on caring, structure, and engaging activities in a safe, positive home environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of childcare experience, comfort with autism support, and a valid driver’s license. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, with flexible scheduling and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of childcare experience, with autism/RBT certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication, reliability and flexibility to adapt to family schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, compassionate care for two children.
• Engage the children in fun, recreational, and educational activities.
• Support daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and mealtimes.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist with light household duties related to the children (laundry, tidying play areas, loading dishwasher).
• Drive children safely to and from activities, appointments, or family outings.
• Support consistent bedtime routines.
• Communicate regularly with parents about the children’s activities, progress, and needs

The older son is on the autism spectrum (mild) and thrives with structure, patience, and engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with special needs and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and positive environment.
