Job summary

Ryman Hospitality Properties is seeking a Manager of Restaurant Operations to work with leadership to develop, implement, and execute business strategies for a multi-experiential live music venue, bar and restaurant. This includes staff training and development, service strategy, operational budget, and sales strategies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Degree in hotel/restaurant management is preferred; practical experience may substitute.
• 3+ years in progressive hospitality management, preferably in a high-volume venue.
• Experience with union and labor-relations agreements is a plus.
• Experience with Micros POS, Compeat and Hot Schedules is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-of-house staff and operations for restaurant, bar, private events and concerts.
• Maintain guest service quality and respond to complaints to win guest return visits.
• Hire, schedule, train, payroll and related functions for hourly staff; develop reports.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and operate POS terminals.
• Collaborate with Marketing, IT, HR and Accounting for staffing and programming.
• Maintain purchasing and inventory levels for FOH culinary and beverage programs.
• Monitor staffing and revenue reports; present data and insights.
• Develop short- and long-term plans for revenue growth and cost control.
• Support security, maintenance and facility upkeep within the venue.
• Uphold brand SOPs and participate in annual audits.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
