Job summary
WVIR-TV/Gray Media in Charlottesville offers a full-time opportunity in a state-of-the-art Multimedia Control Center. You will direct newscasts and oversee all technical aspects of broadcasts, including video, audio, graphics, transitions, and camera movements.
The role requires experience with live content, Ross switchers, and a proactive, creative mindset. You will collaborate with producers and anchors to deliver fast-paced live news, in a dynamic market, Monday through Friday with manager
Qualifications
- Experience with live TV production and content creation.
- Ross switchers experience; Overdrive a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration with TMPs, producers, editors, and stations.
- Creativity and passion are essential for the TMP role at WVIR.
Responsibilities
- Direct newscasts and manage all technical aspects of the newscast (video, audio, graphics, transitions, camera movements).
- Collaborate with producers and anchors to produce fast-paced live broadcasts.
- Handle duties as assigned in a cutting-edge Multimedia Control Center.
