Job summary

Hawk-Eye Innovations (HEI) is seeking a College Sports Systems Technician to work on-site at Big Ten venues, supporting cutting-edge replay and broadcast systems during live games.

You will attend home games, work long days on set and game days, and receive training and exposure to HEI’s technology. The role is contract-based through a managed service provider with weekend and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Broadcast/engineering background with understanding of signal flow is preferred.
• Strong technical grounding is required.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Time management skills for high-pressure, live-broadcast environments.
• Ability to communicate with clients and customers professionally.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• This role requires weekend and federal holiday work.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the set-up of the SMART replay & medical systems (hardware and software).
• Conducting pre-game checks of systems per standard procedures.
• Coordinating with officials, broadcasters and HEI staff on-site and remotely.
• Monitoring and maintaining technology during games.
• Maintaining hardware and equipment throughout the season.
• Off-season work for building and maintaining hardware and equipment.
• Assisting with installation/testing of new products and services.
