Job summary

Hawk-Eye Innovations is seeking a College Sports Systems Technician to operate on-site at Big Ten Conference football stadiums, delivering cutting-edge technology services during live games. The role requires availability for home games all season, with long days on set and game days.

You will receive comprehensive training and support to perform day-to-day tasks, with opportunities for development and progression in a fast-growing business.

Qualifications

• Broadcast/engineering background with an understanding of signal flow.
• Strong technical grounding is required.
• Proactive attitude and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Time management skills and ability to work in a high-pressure, live broadcast environment.
• Ability to communicate with clients and customers in a professional manner.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Acceptance that work will include weekends and federal holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up of SMART replay and medical systems (hardware and software).
• Conduct pre-game checks of systems per standard procedures.
• Coordinate with officials, broadcasters and Hawk-Eye staff on-site and remotely.
• Monitor and maintain technology during games.
• Maintain hardware and equipment throughout the season.
• Off-season work to build and maintain hardware and equipment.
• Assist with installation and testing of new products and services.
