Parker Hospitality is seeking an AV Engineer to manage all audio components for live performances at The Bassment in Chicago, IL. This part-time role supports lighting and projection as needed, with a focus on delivering an atmospheric guest experience and assisting performers.

The candidate should have strong live sound mixing skills, familiarity with lighting design, and the ability to troubleshoot quickly in a fast-paced venue environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong knowledge of nightlife operations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate well in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Adaptable to various show types, artists, and evolving formats.

Responsibilities

• Operate and mix live audio for performances, DJs, and special events.
• Control and program lighting scenes to enhance guest and performer experience (occasional).
• Coordinate tech requirements with performers, DJs, and event producers; set up and break down AV equipment.
• Follow safety protocols for all AV operations and coordinate repairs as needed.
