Job summary

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom seeks Entertainment Technicians to operate and maintain show production equipment including sound, video, lighting and special effects for live shows, educational presentations, and seasonal park events.

Responsibilities include installing and adjusting gear, troubleshooting, and supporting stages and events. Work outdoors in all weather, at heights when needed, with lifting up to 50 lbs; weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must understand theater safety, audio/lighting systems, and stage scenery.
• College-level theatre or related experience required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate spotlight, lighting, audio, video, and special effects equipment for shows and events.
• Perform basic installation/maintenance and troubleshoot technical components.
• Support stagehands and other operators during performances and events.
