Six Flags Entertainment Corporation in Vallejo, CA is seeking an Entertainment Technician (Audio/Visual) to operate and maintain show production sound, video, lighting, and special effects equipment at the park.

You will support all shows, educational presentations, and seasonal events such as Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park, including basic installation and troubleshooting and working at height when required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of technical theater including safety, audio and lighting systems, video, and scenery.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Able to interact with entertainers, technicians, outside contractors, park staff.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Hands-on capability to operate technical equipment and troubleshoot problems.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily operational duties and communicate show and schedule changes.
• Perform assignments as stagehand, spotlight operator, light board operator, audio operator, and camera operator.
• Operate spotlight, light board, audio console, video camera, and special effects equipment.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and maintenance for sound, video, lighting, and effects equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety policies within the department.
• Set a positive example by following park policies.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.
