Job summary

Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey is seeking an Entertainment Technician to safely operate lighting, audio, atmospheric effects, and pneumatics during live shows and marquee events. You will work with guests and staff, following park policies, and adapt to all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting technical equipment, coordinating show setups, and assisting with load-in/load-out for events, with weekend and holiday availability as required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and work 14-hour days when needed.
• Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly and climb ladders up to 16 ft.
• Familiar with lighting/audio/video vocabulary and standard park safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical equipment for live shows (audio, lighting, video, effects) and ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain workspace and prepare venues for daily operations and special events.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and test systems as required.
• Provide exceptional guest service while adhering to park policies.
• Assist with load-in and load-out tasks for events such as Fright Fest.
• Maintain availability including weekends, early mornings, late nights, and holidays.
