Job summary

Hale Centre Theatre in Sandy, Utah is seeking a full-time Automation Technician to operate and maintain automated show elements and control systems across its venues. You will work with automation consoles during performances, perform routine maintenance, inspect rigging, and support installations and special projects.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience with theatrical automation (TAIT Navigator preferred), strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work a demanding schedule

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-show checklists and required documentation.
• Report issues observed during performances in logs or reporting methods.
• Assist with maintenance and routine safety inspections on automation equipment.
• Assist with rigging tasks and show installations; participate in project work.
