Pilgrim’s is a leading global food company seeking Live Receiving Workers. The role rotates through live hanging, crates handling, forklift driving, and backup to the finishing machine, with safety a priority.

You must be able to stand 8–10 hours, communicate effectively, and pass respirator and vision tests. Shift starts early, with benefits after probation, and a focus on continuous improvement and team collaboration.

Formación

• Ability to stand and work up to 8–10 hours daily.
• Effective communication with team members.
• Able to work in a changing production environment.
• Must pass PFT respirator testing.
• Must pass vision testing if required.

Responsabilidades

• Back-Up Stabber: monitor kill machine and ensure birds are killed before scalding.
• Drawer Inserter: place drawers from output conveyor into MODs and detect defects.
• Live Hang: deliver birds to the line at 26 birds per minute with proper hanging techniques.
• Flexibility to work in changing environment and adjust to production demands.
• Trains others with the skills and knowledge gained from position.
• Observe all safety and animal welfare policies and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks; enforce safe work habits.
• Participate in process improvement and problem solving.
• Follow all company animal welfare guidelines.
• Other duties as directed.
