Job summary

iHeartMedia is seeking a Board Operator in Hartford, CT for a part-time role. You will operate broadcast consoles, monitor live programming, coordinate with talent and traffic teams, and troubleshoot issues in real time to ensure high-quality transmissions for listeners across our network.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with NexGen and Adobe Audition, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
• Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams for smooth transitions and accurate ad placement.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate as needed.
• Record, edit, and load audio content for playback using automation systems.
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.
