Job summary

Hubbard Broadcasting in Minneapolis–Saint Paul is seeking a detail‑oriented Board Operator to manage live and syndicated content. You will set up and operate broadcasting equipment, ensure signal quality, and keep to the program log throughout shifts.

The role requires quick thinking, clear communication, and the ability to respond to on‑air changes, weather updates, and emergencies as they arise. This is a part‑time regular position based in the Twin Cities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required, with a minimum one (1) year experience running a radio board preferred; or a combination of education and work experience to perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Run the board, play music, features, billboards, commercials during live or recorded news and/or brokered radio programs.
• Operate and troubleshoot switcher and other radio equipment used in production of a live or recorded broadcast.
• Ensure technical perfection and flawless execution of control board and equipment to regulate volume and sound quality during broadcasts.
• Monitor monitors and manage outgoing audio and sounds levels.
• Follow program log and keep notes on issues or concerns.
