Job summary

StageLync seeks a Technical Operations Supervisor to oversee lighting, sound, rigging, projection, and stage management for productions and rentals. The role partners with artists, production teams, and venue staff to ensure safe, efficient delivery of performances in a vibrant cultural venue.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in tech theater, knowledge of safety standards (OSHA/NFPA), and the ability to plan schedules and budgets while training staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Technical Theater, Design & Technology, or related field.
• Three years of professional arts/cultural production experience, with two in a leadership role.
• Possession of a valid California driver's license or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical aspects of theater and live productions and events.
• Manage load-ins, strikes, and changeovers.
• Supervise construction, installation, rigging, and maintenance of scenic elements.
• Coordinate lighting, sound, AV, and staging with visiting teams and advance technical details.
