We are seeking a skilled Live Production Contractor to support the planning, setup, and execution of live production events. This role requires strong technical expertise in video production, engineering, and videography to ensure seamless event delivery. You will work closely with production teams and vendors to coordinate resources, resolve technical issues, and maintain high-quality standards throughout all live events.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and management of live production events.
• Assist in the setup, operation, and teardown of audio, video, and lighting equipment for live events.
• Provide real-time technical support during live productions to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary production equipment and resources.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during events.
• Ensure compliance with safety and technical standards during all production activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Video Production: Intermediate (3–5 years experience)
• Strong hands-on experience with video engineering and videography in live environments
• Knowledge of industry-standard production equipment and workflows
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment
• Must be local to Chicago, IL and able to commute onsite regularly
