Job summary

Solutions Through Innovative Technologies, Inc. (STI-TEC) seeks an experienced AV technician to support the USDOT's multimedia modernization efforts.

The role covers video production, livestreaming, podcasting, and on-site and remote production support, ensuring high-quality, Section 508-compliant communications for the Office of the Secretary and agencies. Travel will be required; a strong background in studio and field productions is necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience with AV equipment and production systems for live events.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot audio and video feeds.
• Experience supporting livestream and on-site productions.
• Familiarity with broadcast-quality audio and media handling.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audiovisual systems for studio and field productions.
• Operate production equipment including switchers and livestream platforms.
• Configure broadcast-quality audio and ensure clean feeds.
• Support remote and hybrid production needs and external partners.
• Maintain readiness and coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
• Assist with on-site travel and leadership engagements.
