Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples live in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision and support for 8-13 students per home, fostering academic, emotional, and social development.

Initially, roles cover multiple homes with a nine days on, three days off schedule, transitioning to a placed houseparent for a consistent group. Salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
