Chatham University seeks an Associate Director of Student Engagement and Leadership to provide operational leadership, program strategy, and supervision for student activities and traditions.

The 12-month live-on role includes on-call residence life duties, supervision of graduate assistants, and collaboration with Marketing to promote events. A Master’s in higher education administration plus 2+ years of experience in student affairs are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in higher education administration or related field.
• Proven track record of managing complex programs, advising student organizations, and supervising student staff or graduate assistants.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and strong customer service in a student-centered environment.
• Deep understanding of student development theory, crisis response, and inclusive programming models.

Aufgaben

• Oversee planning, execution, and assessment of campus traditions, late-night programming, Welcome Week, and university events.
• Direct supervision of graduate assistants and student leader teams; oversee student org support and budgets.
• Manage program budgets and assist with department budget tracking; collaborate on equity-centered assessment tools.
