Job summary

Milliken & Company is seeking a Samtron Machine Operator to support the Samtron Department within our Georgia facility. The role involves running samples, adhering to schedules, and performing diagnostic checks to ensure product quality.

The position requires following operator manuals, ensuring safety, and assisting with other departmental tasks as needed. Training on the 1st shift is provided, with a 2nd shift schedule of 10 hours.

Qualifications

• Prior machine operation experience preferred.
• Willingness to train on first shift if needed.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run samples and monitor processes.
• Follow the prescribed run schedule and quality specs.
• Read and interpret diagnostic readings.
• Change dye filters and valve cards as required.
• Follow all specifications and procedures in the operator manual and report production.
• Maintain clean workspace and adhere to safety rules.
• Assist other department tasks as needed.

The Samtron Machine Operator is the Samtron Department and reports to the production supervisor.

Some of the requirements are:

• Run samples
• Follow run schedule
• Perform and read diagnostices
• Change dye filters and valve cards
• Follow all specs and procedures in operator manual and report production
• Maintain good housekeeping and obey all safety rules
• Assist other jobs in the department when needed.

Shift schedule: 10 hours and is 2nd shift. Will train on 1st shift.
