Job summary

Gray Media, Inc. in Columbus, GA is seeking a Technical Media Producer to support newscast and commercial ingestion and playout for ABC, FOX, and NBC shows from the Media Control Center.

You will work with the news department to code and present newscasts, handle EAS and transmitter logging, and support multiple shifts. Prior MCR/MCO and Overdrive experience preferred; strong communication under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in live newscast production and ingesting show/mercial material.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts in a TV newsroom.
• Strong written/spoken communication and calm problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for newscast and commercial ingestion and playout for ABC, FOX, and NBC shows.
• Operate and monitor Overdrive/MCR/MCU systems and coordinate sports programming like PSN.
• EAS and transmitter logging to ensure FCC compliance and proper documentation.
• Fill in on various shifts as needed.
