Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, broadcasting, or related field.
• 5+ years producing and boothing live newscasts.
• Ability to work overnight/early morning hours.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong broadcast writing skills and news judgment.
• Proven track record of working at a high level under tight deadlinesDemonstrated experience producing content for multiple platforms (broadcast, digital, streaming, or social media)
• Must provide samples of recent work demonstrating producing experience

Responsibilities

• Multi-Platform Broadcast Production: Produce morning newscast(s) for broadcast and streaming from planning to on-air delivery.
• Story Selection & Structure: Determine story order and write run-downs for multiple platforms.
• Visual Enhancement: Select video and graphics for broadcast and streaming.
• Platform-Specific Content: Develop variations for streaming audiences.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work with anchors, reporters, editors, and directors.
• Breaking News Response: Adapt newscasts for breaking stories across platforms.
• Brand Alignment: Align newscasts with brand pillars and audience research.
• Multi-platform Thinking: Stay current with streaming and digital audience preferences
