Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efforts of all technical operators during newscasts and live/recorded productions.
• Supervise and assign duties to staff in technical control and production.
• Direct camera/video staff on composition via monitors.
• Liaise between engineering and production departments; work with news producers for a high-energy newscast.
• Train camera and CG operators for live broadcasts.
• Switch video sources and direct directions during live broadcasts.
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation; perform other duties as assigned.
