Job summary

Opry Entertainment Group in Oklahoma is seeking a Server to help create unforgettable dining experiences around live music and great food. You will take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure friendly, attentive service from start to finish.

In a fast-paced venue, you’ll greet guests, know the menu, manage POS transactions, and support guests throughout their visit. This role requires energy for peak times and teamwork with kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated team player and self-starter.
• Standard food preparation/presentation knowledge.
• Wine and liquor knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tables simultaneously with efficiency and a positive, friendly demeanor.
• Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and sincere welcome.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu and daily specials; respond to inquiries and suggestively sell.
• Proactively address guest needs; resolve concerns professionally.
• Take orders and input into POS; communicate with kitchen/bar/guests.
• Deliver orders promptly with accuracy and presentation; carry trays as needed.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and verify IDs.
• Adhere to cash handling and POS procedures; reconcile at shift end.
• Maintain clean and orderly dining and service areas.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and perform opening/closing duties.
• Follow all safety, security, and brand SOPs; report issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
